AirAsia will teach technology with Google
Malaysian airline company hopes to use the new tech talent to boost its new projects. It also goes in hand with the strategy of becoming a “digital disruptor” in the sector, which was proclaimed by the CEO Tony Fernandes. According to the company’s statement, Google has agreed to set up a whole “tech academy”.
The courses will focus primarily on AI, cloud infrastructure and smart analysis.Google will offer a full package of educational materials and will explain the inner workings of some of their major services.
AirAsia has already took its first steps into digital services, offering travel plans online. It aims to expand the new tech rapidly and become a full-scale online booking company.
