Twitter will allow users to limit the replies to their tweets
Twitter will add the ability to limit the types of users who can reply to their tweets. The new function will be tested in the first quarter of 2020, said director of product management Susan Xie.
When publishing a tweet, the user will be able to choose which category the entry belongs to, which will subsequently affect its reply settings: global (all users can comment), group (only those who the author follows or if the user(s) are mentioned in the tweet), panel (only the users that are tagged in the post can comment, or statement (no comments).
So that other users can talk about any particular tweet, a citation function will appear in the social network, the top manager added.
