Facebook bans deepfake videos
The tech giant explained that the new rule includes those videos where the captured person said fictional things he didn’t really say in real life. Other videos created using artificial intelligence technologies and neural networks will also be banned.
"Although such videos are still quite infrequent on the Internet, they pose a significant danger to the industry and society, as they are being used more and more actively", Facebook claims.
The rules do not apply to parody and satirical videos or videos where the word order has been modified.
