Counterpoint named smartphone market leaders
Leaders in the smartphone market in coronavirus epidemic conditions have been named. Analysts from Counterpoint presented the report for February.
According to their data, global sales of smartphones in February didn't fall too much - by 14% compared with the same period in 2019.
As for the Chinese market in particular, there was a more serious decline - by 38%. Retail sales were particularly affected - by 50%. At the same time, online sales have slightly increased.
Samsung was the leader overall with a share of 21.9%. Second place was taken by Apple (14.4%) and third by Huawei (13.2%). The latter was most popular in China.
Xiaomi is in the fourth place, followed by Oppo, Vivo and Realme.
