Facebook will allocate $100 million to help small businesses affected by the coronavirus outbreak
Facebook will distribute US$100 million worth of grants to small businesses in the countries where employees live and work. The social network reported about it in its blog.
The assistance will be provided in the form of direct financial support or loans for advertising. In total, Facebook plans to support 30,000 businessmen.
Participation in the program will help companies pay rent, attract more customers, cover operating costs and support employees, Facebook stated.
In total, Facebook plans to support 30,000 small business companies in more than 30 countries.
