Uber will start to massively freeze accounts of drivers and passengers with coronavirus
Uber will soon begin to massively freeze accounts of both drivers and passengers who were infected with coronavirus.
According to the company representatives, accounts will be frozen for two weeks if it turns out that Uber users either had a contact with infected people or if their own tests confirm the presence of disease. In the event that Uber drivers are forced into a two-week quarantine due to suspected coronavirus, they will still be required to pay some compensation.
It should be noted that to date, Uber has already frozen more than 200 accounts in Mexico due to the suspicion of coronavirus. Now the taxi aggregator intends to use this method around the world.
