Huawei expects a possible drop in sales
Last year, the U.S. authorities imposed sanctions against Huawei. The manufacturer was "good" to the last, saying that it is not afraid of harassment from the U.S., but today, for the first time since the beginning of these very sanctions, Huawei spoke about a possible decline in its sales.
Thus, the fall may be so serious that the company itself has made a prediction of an extremely large decline in smartphone sales at the end of this year - by 20%. Thus, the Chinese manufacturer will ship "only" 190 to 200 million units in 2020. On one hand, the figure in units is still huge, but the decline of 20% is a very, very big problem, in fact. For example, it is precisely because of such sales figures that Huawei may lose the second place in the smartphone market by the end of this year to its main Korean competitor - Samsung.
Huawei is trying hard to fight U.S. sanctions. Thus, Huawei has already introduced its own operating system Harmony OS and its own app store - AppGallery.
