Apple has enabled push notifications ads on iOS
Apple has updated the recommendations for the App Store and allowed developers to send advertising push notifications in applications, writes The Verge. To do this, the user must agree to receive notifications and be able to opt out of them at any time.
The company has warned that there should be no abuse.
Apple has previously prohibited the sending of push notifications for promotional purposes. According to the publication, in February 2019, the company itself violated the rules of the App Store and sent a notice to Apple Music users, offering a month free subscription for friends.
