Huawei launches HMS Core 4.0 services worldwide
Chinese company Huawei officially announced the launch of a set of services named Huawei Mobile Services 4.0, the use of which will allow software developers to improve the efficiency and speed of mobile applications development, as well as facilitate their monetisation.
HMS Core services are combined into a single platform that provides a broad base of open APIs of the Huawei ecosystem. With this platform, developers will be able to optimise business processes for the creation of mobile software, using various development and testing tools. The novel version of HMS Core 4.0 adds new tools for developers that include machine learning, code scanning, rapid authentication, user authorisation, location, security, etc. to existing services.
According to available data, the use of open APIs available within HMS Core boosts device performance and optimise power consumption. At the same time, universal operational support of HMS Core helps accelerate the process of development of high-quality software solutions that have a rich set of basic services. All this simplifies the development of mobile applications, allowing their authors to reduce costs and focus on the implementation of innovative solutions.
At the moment more than 1.3 million developers from different countries of the world have joined the Huawei ecosystem. About 55,000 applications have already been integrated with HMS Core and became available in Huawei App Gallery, a digital content store.
